About the Facilitator

Lisa Tanti is an experiened art therapist.
Upon graduation from Art Centre College of Design Lisa have been conducting numerous art related workshops around the world, concurrently setting up her own studio 15 years ago. Lisa strongly believes in using art as an avenue to understand one psychologically and emotionally – with visual work, several unconscious materials come out.

About the Workshop

Art therapy is a creative process of improving one’s physical, mental and emotional well-being through art – crafting, doodling and painting. The idea of self-exploration is foreign as many skim through life trying to check all the boxes. The endless to-do list hinders our journey to dig deep into our inner emotions.

Using your art creation, you will be guided by an art therapist (Lisa Tanti) to explore feelings and emotions that be difficult to verbalize. Lisa will provide insightful conclusions and reveal certain aspects of yourself that you never knew existed. It is non-intrusive yet is able to touch on the nonverbal aspects of communication and creativity. It is especially effective for those who face difficulty in expressing their thoughts and feelings verbally.

A common hearsay is as time goes by, a couple will grow to learn how to love one another and understand each other better. However, without proper communication and deep understanding between one another, miscommunication can still be the downfall of a relationship.

This workshop has been designed to enable couples to better understand and encourage the sharing of each other’s perceptions towards their partners. This will not only benefit young couples, but also couples going onto the next stage of the relationship – marriage, where they have to work even closely together as a team.

All parents have only one thing in mind, which is to provide the best for their children till adulthood. Even before the child was born, they are already planning the best kindergarten to send them to and to buy the most beneficial toys and books. However, they often overlook the true essence of growing up – is the child happy? How do they know that the ‘best’ is the best for their child?

Whether they are searching for answers for the physical or the psychological; parents yearn for positive constructive remedies to solve their child’s discomforts. The ultimate goal of this 3 hours parent-child dyad art therapy is to help the parent acquire the ability to interact with their child in a playful, imaginative, and non-intrusive manner, thereby strengthening the attachment between the two.
